On May 16, Course Completion Ceremony for the program students were at the meeting room. Program teachers and other Korean students joined to celebrate their successful finish, and followings are the images of the moment.

    1. Time : May 16, Thursday 6PM
    2. Place: Meeting Room of the 14th floor of the Main Building.  
       * We will have a small party after the ceremony at the lounge of the English Town basement.

Jong-oh, the president of Arierang in Netherland and a korean adoptee, will visit our program on May 17.

Seven adoptees from all over the world have applied for next semester of this program by May 7.

April Advisory Meeting

On May 7 (Tuesday), there will be an advisory meeting. The board members are advised to join the meeting at noon  in Awon Restaurant.  

On May 3, the program students have been in Chonra-do, which is south-eastern part of the country including Kwangju, to visit Kwangju biennale and other places. The trip was arranged by an Inje University student in ET.  

Last week, Dominique Gallee met her biological mother and father through InKAS. InkAS is a private organization helping korean adoptees, the following is a brief information regarding the organization.

On April 19, the gram students visited Pyochung-sa in Milyang.  Program teachers Paik and Kim helped the travel.  They had a good time to have traditional Korean Tea and Bibim-bap.

TaeJong-Dae visit
On April 1, 2002, the students stopped by Taejong-dae, Youngdo, Busan, with some of English Town students.  They saw zshima island of Japan through the telescope and heard a tale of suicide rock (jasal-bawee).  

Field trip to Kyungju
On April 4 and 5, 2002, the students have a field trip to Kyungju, Kyungbuk, to experience cultural heritage of Shilla dynasty.  They visited Bulkuk-sa (Buddha's nation temple) and Chunma-chong (a Royal tomb with painting of flying horse).

On March 20, one of the former program students Liz gave an orientation for the new program students.  She has received a Fullbright fellowship to do an adoptee related study.

On March 12, an adoptee named Dan visited the program.

Dominique Gallee received USD 100 fellowship from the Institute.  The institute provided the money to encourage her study in this program.

 All the students of the spring semester, 2002, have joined the program.
